Dr Luisa Pettigrew studied medicine at Edinburgh University (1997-2002) and undertook her GP training in London, qualifying as a GP in 2008. She has previously worked in accident and emergency, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology and psychiatry. She hold Diplomas in Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Family Planning, and a Masters in Health Policy.
Dr Pettigrew works part-time at Temple Fortune Medical Centre as she combines her role as a GP with being the Clinical Director for Primary Care Network 6 in Barnet, and as a Research Fellow in the department of Health Services Research and Policy at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She speaks Spanish.
